Nestcology Flair Competition 2018 is one of the national scale event that held on April 4th 2018 in Nestcology Semarang. The competition’s total prize 20 million rupiah, 40 participants from 8 provinces such as: Bali, Manado, Jakarta, Semarang, Bandung, Surabaya, and Solo. In this occasion, Trio Bangkit Sanjaya, the committee said that, “this event will be held every year. We hope that the bartenders from other region could participate and compete.”
The first and second place are Aldi Suardana (Azul Beach Club Bali) and Putu Purna Yasa (Adi Baskara University), and the third place is Lega Jatmiko (Royal Ambarukmo Hotel Yogyakarta). Aldi stated that, “really glad to reach the first place in this competition because the competitors are very competitive. Hopefully, this national scale tournament held periodically, and could become a melting plot for bartenders all around Indonesia”.
This event presented international jury: Shahmil Lim, the owner and founder of Bar Stylez Singapore, and David Muhamad Junior, the vice president of ABA (Asian Bartender Association) Indonesia. ABA Indonesia will actively supported the activity of Indonesian bartenders so the bartenders could active in Asia level.
