Segara Madu co-op along with Sekaa Teruna (traditional organisation of the young in Bali) Segara Madu held flair bartender organization for beginners coincide with its anniversary in June 15th 2018 at Waroeng Madu Sedana, Sanur, Bali. This event aim to level up the competency and skills of the younger generations, so the can compete in the future. “This is the second event that we organize, our plan is to hold this event continously, so the young bartenders have their own place to be creative in flair bartending. Hand in hand with associations of Food & Beverages such as HBI (Himpunan Bartender Indonesia), ABA (Asia Bartender Association), and LMC (Local Manager Collective).” Said Agus Santika, the head committee also the member of HBI.
In this occasion, HBI and ABA as a professional association of bartender support the event and hope that the development of young bartenders can continuously carry out. “Talent of young bartenders in Bali are potential to develop, so its need to support whether it is training or championship to polish their skills, there is where HBI take its part along with another association and community in the F&B world,” said Komang Swasta as HBI representative. “I am happy to become champion of this competition, I hope the other bartenders keep their spirits to join the competition because we are here to polish our skill and sharing knowledge between us” said Raditya after giving the prize.
