Emocao coffee held their second event Latte Art competition on May 6, 2018, In Emocao coffee shop Renon, the previous event held on March 4, 2018, at Colony Café Plaza Renon. Emocao coffee as a premium coffee product, they also had the coffee shop in Canggu Batu Bolong Beach. The purpose of this competition is for challenging barista skills with gave them the opportunity to improve their skills from event to event as well, and also as breakthrough talent from the young barista as regeneration. This second competition is demanding from barista especially from Denpasar, because most of the event held in Ubud or Seminyak. Meanwhile, barista and coffee shop in Denpasar is significantly developed during the past of 5 years, they need a place to show their creation as well.
There are 32 baristas who joint this competition with the battle concept, after the first round with 32 contestants, then the second round with 16 contestants, and there is another round until the final round for best of the best. The first until third stage, the contestant had a challenge to a made pattern based on jury selection and on the grand final stage with free flow concept, the contestant freestyle to make their own creation. The criteria from the judges for the champion is about perfection from foam, softness, symmetrical shape, and art & creation. After passed several stages the winner of this competition awarded cash money, certificate, and medals. Here is the winner list
