Best of The Best Bartender looking for who will become Captain figure and called “Captain Mojito of The Year 2018 by Captain Morgan” held in Tree Bar, Hotel Indigo, Seminyak beach, Bali, Monday April 30th April 2018. The Journey of Captain Mojito Burst #3 competition, looking for big five who will compete in the best of the best stage along with ten other finalists who won Burst #1 and Burst #2. The theme for Burst #3 itself is “Classic Rum Cocktail” beside the obligation to make Mojito.
The competition organized by Himpunan Bartender Indonesia (HBI) the umbrella organization for bartenders in Indonesia which have the purpose to rise the quality of Indonesia bartenders. The amazing show from the participants to serve cocktail with taste and interesting presentation make the juries very selective to choose big 5 who will go for Best of The Best stage. The big 5 that will go to the next stage are :
The Champion : Komang Anik Adi Putra (Bikini restaurant).
Prize : Medals, certificate, merchandise and cash money Rp 10 million.
2nd Place : Raviella Angela (Blanco par Mandif).
Prize : Medals, certificate, merchandise and cash money Rp 7 million.
3rd Place : Harris Mahendra (Sake no Hana Bali).
Prize : Medals, certificate, merchandise and cash money Rp 5 million.
4th Place : Kadek Ayu Suartini (Salazon restaurant).
Prize : Merchanside and certificate.
5th Place : I Gede Lesmana Yasa (Prama Sanur Beach Hotel).
Prize: Merchandise and certificate.
The Best Performance : Dewa Komang Ari Widiadnya (Hotel Indigo Seminyak).
Prize: Merchandise and certificate.
The Best Creative Video : Dwi Kumala (Wyndham Garden Kuta Beach).
Prize: Merchandise and certificate.
By the end of the event, Bayu Hendra as the coordinator of HBI said that “In the Best of The Best stage, HBI as the organizer already set the challenge for the candidates who will be Captain figure who will called as “Captain Mojito of The Year 2018 by Captain Morgan”. Besides that, I hope whoever wins Best of The Best stage will inspire the young bartenders to sharpen their ability.”
