The Master World Bartending Championship 2018 is the one of prestigious Bartending competition is followed by 10 countries, this time this event is held at the same time with 10 years anniversary of BTC (Bartender Thai Corporation). This event held on 26-28 March 2018 in Longbar Patong, Thailand. Bacardi Thailand Company Limited becoming the main sponsor again along with Uncle Tom Company and ABA (Asia Bartender Association) as always supporting every event from ABA team all over Asia, even small cocktails industry in the world.
There are 2 categories for this event, World Flair Master and World Mix Master which as the total prize are competed is $15.000. In this event Indonesia sent 2 best representatives, flair categories is I Wayan Eka Darmawan from Flair Forever Bali and Mix Master is Gede Adijaya from Maya Sanur Resort & Spa. This opportunity Indonesia are proud, because both of them is top 10 of 20 flair contestants and 22 mixmaster contestants. Most likely Gede Adi Jaya achieved “The Best Gin & Tonic” with his cocktail presented: The Holy Tirta” is inspired by Balinese culture.
Next world-class championship will be held in Bali its called “Stars War Bali World Flair Championship” in September 2018. This event is the one of bartender competition from the five biggest bartending competition in the world. Hopefully, next Indonesian bartender will be improving their achievement, so they became Indonesia tourism ambassador in the world-class bartending competition.
