Last weekend with their high prestigious style, presented the 5th time of Bar Take over with special guest: mixologist Imammudin Azzai, the winner of the SKYY Global Challenge in Dubai and the mastermind behind Arrack & Spice in Jakarta, known for his innovative cocktails using local ingredients influenced by the local ancient drinking culture.
This event held on June 30th, 2018 at Bikini front Bar. Everyone with mandatory attire smart casual, shoes and shirt enjoyed amazing background of funky tuned from Bikini Restaurant resident DJ and delicious cocktails from Imammudin with his 2 recipes Es Campoer to the Moon based on Finlandia Vodka, coconut, pandan, fresh white citrus and the other one is Si Jampang G&T based London No.1 Gin, Bawang Goreng fat-washed, chilli tonic, rosemary stick. Another unique cocktails recipe created by award-winning Head Mixologist Arey Barker is London Side based on London No.1, Rooibos tea infused, cucumber, lemon juice, spiced syrup, earl grey foam and another one is Bidara from Eden based on El Jimandor reposado, Bidara fruit, cashew nut and cinnamon syrup, lime juice. Also, there is Imammudin’s secret cocktail, which as it didn’t put on the menu and people randomly tried during the night were named Sirop Orson Negroni based on Milk Punch Style Negroni then infused butterfly pea. Another Exciting trivia game comes from Mixologist contest between Arey Barker x Imammudin x Kiki Moka as Indonesia’s first World Class representative and Imammudin won the trivia game with his recipe Es Campoer to the Moon.
